Everyday, homeowners in Maricopa County encounter dangerous repair issues with their homes, that they just can’t afford. This could be a grandparent, living on a fixed income, with NO AIR CONDITIONING because of electrical issues. A neighbor who just lost their job and have PLUMBING THAT IS BACKED UP. These are friends, family, and neighbors who just need some help. There are government programs for this, but the need is too great, and the help is limited.

According to the Arizona Department of Health Services the Arizona Heat is responsible for claiming of the lives of more than 250 people each year, with over 3,000 visiting hospitals due to heat related illnesses.
Maricopa County Heat Deaths
Maricopa County says that every year PEOPLE DIE INSIDE THEIR HOMES due to heat exposure because of issues related to non-functioning air conditioners or no electricity. In 2022, 51 of our Maricopa County neighbors died because their A/C was not working. So far in 2023, there have been 16 indoor heat-associated deaths.
